About
Typing should feel like
the words come to you.
Wysp is AI predictive text for your whole Mac. As you write — in Mail, Messages, Slack, Notes, a browser, anywhere — a small AI model quietly suggests the next few words in soft grey ghost text at your cursor. Press tab to keep them and carry on. It fades when you don't.
The thing that makes Wysp different is where the thinking happens: on your Mac, not in the cloud. The model lives inside the app and runs on your Apple Silicon chip. There's no account, no sign-in, and no server to send your words to — it even works with the Wi-Fi off. We can't read what you type for the simple reason that it never reaches us.
Why we built it
Good predictive typing existed, but it lived behind monthly subscriptions or inside a single app, and too much of it shipped your keystrokes to someone else's servers. We wanted the opposite: something that works everywhere you type, costs nothing for the core experience, and keeps your words on your own machine by default. So we built it.
What we believe
On-device. No account, no tracking. Off means off — and you can see exactly what's shared.
The core predictive-text experience is free forever. Premium is a one-time purchase, never a subscription.
It works well out of the box. No knobs to tune, no prompt-wrangling — just type.
